JEE Main 2025 Photograph Upload Guidelines

Candidates must adhere to the following guidelines while uploading their photographs and signatures for JEE Main 2025:

• Spectacles are allowed only if used regularly by the candidate.

• Polaroid photos and computer-generated images are not acceptable.

• The photograph and signature must be uploaded strictly as per the specified requirements.

• Both the photo and signature must be in JPG or JPEG format.

• Avoid using filters or editing tools while uploading the photograph to ensure authenticity.

• Blurred or unclear photographs or signatures that fail to identify the candidate will result in the rejection of the application.

• Candidates must not upload photos, signatures, or certificates belonging to someone else, as it will be considered Unfair Means (UFM), and strict action will be taken under UFM guidelines.

• The photograph uploaded during registration should ideally include the candidate's name and date. However, if this is not available, the authorities will still issue the JEE Main admit card.

• Ensure that the photograph has a clear white or light-coloured background for better visibility.

• The photograph should include a frontal view of the candidate’s face with a neutral expression.

• Avoid wearing caps, hats, or sunglasses in the photograph, unless for religious reasons.

• It is recommended to keep multiple copies of the uploaded photograph for future reference, as it may be required during counselling and admissions.

JEE Main 2025 Photo and Signature Correction

The NTA allows candidates to make corrections to their uploaded signature in the JEE Main application form during the correction window. However, changes to the uploaded photograph are not permitted. Candidates who have mistakenly uploaded an incorrect signature image or dimensions can rectify it using the JEE Main 2025 application form correction facility. The correction window will be open from November 26 to 27, 2024.
