Mr. Nobody is a short and beautiful poem about a funny little man who creates a lot of mischief and nuisance but gets away with it. The chapter tells us about a mysterious funny little man who carries out the mischief in everybody’s home but is never seen by anybody. The poem is quite unique and interesting.


The poem ‘Mr. Nobody’ begins with the poet writing that he/she knows of a funny little man who is as quiet as a rat. The poet calls him quiet like a rat as he makes little to no sound as he carries out his mischievous activities. 


The poet then reveals that the funny little man who is as quiet as a rat causes mischief in everyone’s house. But no one has ever seen the mischievous man’s face. The poet is certain that it is the funny little man who causes mischief, but is unsure of what he looks like. 


The chapter says that everyone agrees to the fact that every plate that is broken is done by the funny little man called Mr. Nobody. As the poet is unsure of what the man looks like, he/she calls him a Mr. Nobody.
