NSEJS Exam Eligibility Criteria: 2023-24

The total number of marks of the examination is 240. You will be credited three marks for each answer if you are correct. And if you give a wrong answer, then one mark will be deducted from your marks. You need to score Minimum Admissible Score to qualify. The form filling up process is conducted by the school only.

The registration process is explained further thoroughly. Students can register themselves only for one time. Before the deadline, candidates should sign up for the NSEJS 2022–23 exam centres. Candidates must enrol for the exam. Students have the option to choose their preferred language upon registration and take the exam in either English or Hindi.

Step-1: Locate the closest NSE exam centre in your city or neighbourhood first. You may see a list of all NSE Centres here, along with their addresses and phone numbers.

Step-2: The NSEJS Application Form will be emailed to you after you get in touch with the Centre Coordinator. You can fill up and submit the NSEJS 2022–23 application form to the Centre Coordinator prior to the NSEJS Registration deadline.

Eligibility Criteria for NSEJS 2022-23

• This test is open to high school students who are in the 10th grade or lower and who are not anticipated to pass their 10th board exam before November 2022. They could show up with their school or by themselves.

• Students are responsible for confirming their eligibility, and if they exhibit any unethical behaviour that suggests they are not the required age or grade, they are immediately disqualified from the exam.

• Even if you pass the first level of the exam in such circumstances, you will not be allowed to continue. Birth Date that falls within the range of January 1, 2007, and December 31, 2008, inclusive.

• The most important thing to keep in mind is that only Indian citizens are eligible to take the National Standard Examination in Junior Science.

• The student cannot take such exams like NSEA (National Standard Examination in Astronomy), NSEB (National Standard Examination in Biology), NSEC (National Standard Examination in Chemistry), or NSEP in the same year as the NSEJS (National Standard Examination In Physics).

The NSEJS assessments cover the subjects of physics, mathematics, chemistry, and biology. Students are required to study all courses  including the class 10 as well as all classes below it.
