The Uttarakhand Polytechnic Eligibility Criteria:

There is no age limit for appearing for Uttarakhand JEEP 2020. The eligibility criteria have been set differently for different courses offered by the UBTER. We can jot them course wise for you:

  1. Diploma in Engineering (Later Entry), Group A

  • You must pass class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects.

  • Students from vocation stream or ITI (two years) can apply.


  1. Diploma in Engineering/Technology, Group E

  • Must have 35% marks in class 10 examination

  • A clearance certificate for class 10 or equivalent is necessary with science and mathematics.


  1. PG Diploma in Computer Applications, Group G

  • A graduation degree is mandatory.


  1. Diploma in Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Group H

  • Must have 35% marks in 10+2 examination

  • A clearance certificate for class 12 or equivalent with English is necessary 


  1. Modern Office Management & Secretarial Practice, Group M

  • A graduation degree is mandatory. 


  1. Diploma in Pharmacy, Group P

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with physics, chemistry, and biology, or mathematics.

There are many grounds where your application or exam paper can be rejected. Let us see what they are:

  • Multiple registrations for a single course

  • Incorrect or incomplete application form

  • If the information on the application form does not match with the documents presented for verification

  • If your signature on the application form or admit card does not match with the same on the examination paper

  • Failing to pay the application fee

  • Failing to appear for the counseling session

  • Failing to furnish a valid admit card on the examination day

1. What is the cut off mark for the Uttarakhand Polytechnic exam?

The cut off mark for the Uttarakhand Polytechnic 2022 has yet not been declared. It will be released after the announcement of the 2022 examination result. To get relevant information on the 2022 edition of JEEP, follow the official website.

2. Can I get admission without scoring the Uttarakhand JEEP Cut off Marks?

Students with scores below the cut off marks are not eligible for admission under UBTER.  

3. Can I get Uttarakhand Polytechnic Admit Card without paying?

There is no fee so as to say for the admit card. But you will have to pay a mandatory fee for the application form. General candidates have to pay 800 INR, and SC/ST candidates have to pay 500 INR. You will not be allotted with the admit card without submitting the application form. The fee for the application form is non-refundable

4. What is JEEP?

JEEP is the abbreviation for Uttarakhand Joint Entrance Examination Polytechnic conducted for admission in Diploma courses in the fields of Engineering, Fashion Designing, Pharmacy, Catering Technology, Hotel Management, etc. It is conducted by Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education, Roorkee (UBTER)
