IAC, as per the medical terminology stands for the internal acoustic canal. This is also known as the internal auditory canal or simply known as meatus (IAM). IAC is located in the petrous part of the temporal bone, which is situated between the inner ear and the posterior cranial fossa. This opens to the inside of the cranial cavity. This opening is known as the internal acoustic opening or the porous acoustics internus. The outer margins here are rounded and very smooth. The outer part of this canal is known as the fundus. The fundus is subdivided by the two thin crests of bone that form three separate canals for the facial and the vestibulocochlear nerve branches.
This is a rounded and smooth canal that measures approximately around 8.5 mm in length, around 4 mm in diameter. This is filled with a fluid called the spinal fluid and lined by dura. It also contains three important nerves which include the auditory nerve, the facial nerve, and the vestibular nerves. IAC provides passage to these three nerves to pass from inside the skull, this gives the structure of the inner ear and face. The facial and vestibulocochlear nerves transmit all the information to the brain. So, the internal acoustic canal is a crucial part of the cranial cavity which helps to perform various vital functions.

Accrediting Commission International (ACI), which is popularly known as Accrediting Commission International for Schools, Colleges, and Theological Seminaries, is associated with International Accrediting Commission (IAC), which are the International Accrediting Commission for Schools, Colleges and also with the Theological Seminaries. This educational accreditation is least recognized. It is a corporation in the United States. IAC primarily accredits all the religious schools, including the seminaries and even the Bible colleges. They offer accreditation to the non-U.S. schools which offer business educational programs.
Tracing back to the history of this foundation
In the year 1982, the International Accrediting Commission for Schools, Colleges, and Theological Seminaries (abbreviated as IAC) was established in Missouri. In October of 1988, Missouri’s Attorney created a sting operation where they built the "Eastern Missouri Business College" with deliberately substandard faculty and also with a curriculum that lasted less than a week. Accreditation visits from the IAC resulted in many civil fraud charges. IAC was then ordered to pay the state of Missouri an amount of $15,0000 and cease its operation in the state of Missouri in the fall of the year 1989.
ACI was later established in 1989 in Beebe, Arkansas. After which they ready acceptance to the IAC members.
Recognition
ACI is not recognized by the US Department of Education. The institution itself is responsible for recognizing the educational accrediting institutions in the United States. ACI says that the credits from the member schools are not to be accepted by the industry or by any non-member schools.
The Oregon Office of Degree Authorization includes ACI in its own list of unrecognized accreditation agencies this is by stating that, "any so-called 'accreditation' by these bodies will be meaningless to Oregon and in some other states. In the year 2007, St. Petersburg Time published a defamation lawsuit against IAC as quoted by Alan Contreras, "Anything accredited by ACI in Beebe, Ark., is either fake or substandard, as far as I know."
In the year 2017, a spokesman for the South Carolina Department of Education said that the diploma which is issued by the Georgia-based, ACI-accredited Cornerstone Christian Correspondence School never matched South Carolina's diploma-issuing criteria.
