Importance of Chemistry in JEE Advance

Chemistry has three parts that are Inorganic Chemistry which comprises 36marks, Organic Chemistry comprises 45marks and Physical chemistry is 43 marks. Students should study all the topics in all three parts thoroughly if they want to be sure of a good score. Once you are thorough with the topics then you can focus on those topics which have more weightage.

To do this systematically there should be a proper strategy and plan to do the everyday studies. Without a plan, you will not be able to complete the syllabus and the whole preparation will land in confusion.

Be clear with the basics and be confident in the D and F block elements chapters. Then everything becomes easier if the fundamentals are stronger.

  • Make short notes of key points and the topics and revise every day. You can also use the placards to make an organized note. The three basic elements in  Organic chemistry are hydrogen, oxygen and carbon. The entire organic chemistry is built on the properties of these three elements.
