4. अलैंगिक जनन की अपेक्षा लैंगिक जनन के क्या लाभ हैं?

उत्तर: अलैंगिक जनन में प्राप्त संतति, जनक के लगभग समरूप होते हैं, क्योंकि इनमें एक ही जीव के डी०एन०ए० से प्रतिकृति प्राप्त होती है परंतु लैंगिक जनन में दो या दो से अधिक जीव भाग लेते हैं। अत: संयोजन अनोखा होता है तथा भिन्न जीवों से प्राप्त डी०एन०ए० अत्यधिक विभिन्नताओं को बढ़ावा देता है, जो विकास के लिए आवश्यक है।लैंगिक जनन में नए संयोजन के अवसर उत्पन्न होते हैं, जिससे नई स्पीशीज़ एवं जाति की उत्पत्ति होती है।

उत्तर: मानव में वृषण के कार्य निम्न हैं-

• शुक्राणु का निर्माण करना।

• टेस्टोस्टेरोन हॉर्मोन का स्राव करना।

उत्तर: निषेचन नहीं होने की स्थिति में अंडाशय की अंत:भित्ति की मांसल एवं स्पंजी परत जैसी संरचना की आवश्यकता नहीं रहती, क्योंकि यह अंड के निषेचन होने की अवस्था में उसके पोषण के लिए आवश्यक होता है। अतः यह परत धीरे-धीरे टूटकर योनि मार्ग से रुधिर एवं म्यूकस के रूप में निष्कासित होती है। इस चक्र में लगभग एक माह का समय लगता है, इसे ऋतुस्राव या रजोधर्म कहते हैं।

8. गर्भनिरोधन की विभिन्न विधियाँ कौन-सी हैं?

उत्तर: गर्भनिरोधन की विधियाँ निम्नलिखित हैं-

1. यांत्रिक अवरोध- ताकि शुक्राणु अंडकोशिका तक न पहुँच सकें। शिश्न को ढकने वाले कंडोम अथवा योनि में रखने वाले अनेक युक्तियाँ; जैसे-लूप अथवा कॉपर-टी को गर्भाशय में स्थापित करना।

2. हार्मोन संतुलन को परिवर्तन- ये दवाएँ मादा सामान्यतः गोली के रूप में लेती हैं, जिससे हॉर्मोन संतुलन में परिवर्तन हो जाता है तथा अंड का विमोचन ही नहीं होता है। अतः निषेचन नहीं हो पाता है।

3. शल्य क्रिया तकनीक- यदि पुरुष की शुक्रवाहिकाओं को अवरुद्ध कर दिया जाए तो शुक्राणुओं का स्थानांतरण रुक जाएगा। यदि मादा की अंडवाहिनी अथवा फैलोपियन नलिका को अवरुद्ध कर दिया जाए, तो अंड (डिंब) गर्भाशय तक नहीं पहुँच सकेगा, दोनों ही अवस्थाओं में निषेचन नहीं हो पाएगा।

9. एक-कोशिक एवं बहुकोशिक जीवों की जनन पद्धति में क्या अंतर हैं?

उत्तर: एक-कोशिक जीवों में जनन समान्तयः अलैंगिक  जनन द्वारा होता है| एक-कोशिक प्रायः विखंडन, मुकुलन, पुनरुद्भवन, बहुखंडन आदि विधियों से जनन करते हैं। ये सरलता से कोशिका विभाजन के द्वारा तेज़ी से जनन कर सकते हैं। 

बहुकोशिक जीवों में जनन क्रिया जटिल होती है और यह मुख्य रूप से लैंगिक जनन क्रिया ही करते है।

10. जनन किसी स्पीशीज की समष्टि के स्थायित्व में किस प्रकार सहायक हैं?

उत्तर: सजीवों के सभी प्रक्रमों में जनन एक आवश्यक प्रक्रिया है| जनन द्वारा ही जीव अपने अस्तित्व को बनाए रख सकते हैं| सजीव अपनी जनन क्षमता का उपयोग कर जीवों की समष्टि पारितंत्र में स्थान ग्रहण करते है | जनन के दौरान DNA प्रतिकृति का बनना जीव की शारीरिक संरचना एवं डिजाइन के लिए अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है जो उसे विशिष्ट निकेत के योग्य बनाती है|अतः हम कह सकते है कि किसी प्रजाति की समष्टि के स्थायित्व का संबंध जनन से है |

उत्तर: गर्भनिरोधक युक्तियाँ मुख्य रूप से गर्भ रोकने के लिए ही अपनाई जाती हैं। इनसे बच्चों की आयु में अंतर बढ़ाने में भी सहयोग लिया जा सकता है। ये अवांछित गर्भ को रोकती है इसलिए महिलाओं के अच्छे स्वास्थ्य को बनाये रखती है| गर्भनिरोधक विधि यौन संचारित रोगों से सुरक्षा प्रदान करती है|
