घोड़ा एक पालतू, घरेलू और शाकाहारी जानवर है। वह बहुत तेज़ गति से दौड़ता है।
घोड़े सफेद, लाल, भूरे, काले, स्लेटी रंग के होते हैं। अरबी घोड़ा बहुत तेज़ दौड़ने के लिए प्रसिद्ध है।
घोड़ा जहाँ रहता है उसे अस्तबल कहते हैं। आमतौर पर घोड़ा घास वाले क्षेत्रों या मैदानों में रहना पसंद करते हैं।
घोड़े का जीवनकाल लगभग 25 से 30 वर्ष का होता है। मनोरंजन के लिए, सरकस में, सामान ढोने के कार्यों में भी घोड़े काम में लाए जाते हैं।
मुझे घोड़े की सवारी करना बहुत अच्छा लगता है। घोड़े अपनी बफादारी के लिए सदैव याद किए जाते रहेंगे।
ऊँट-
ऊँट को ‘रेगिस्तान का जहाज़’ भी कहा जाता है। ऊँट एक शाकाहारी जानवर है।
ऊँट कई दिनों तक बिना पानी के भी रह सकता है। ये सूखे क्षेत्रों में आसानी से रह सकते हैं।
ऊँट की तीन पलकें होती हैं जिसके कारण रेगिस्तान में चलने वाली तेज़ हवाओं और धूल से उसकी आँखें सुरक्षित होती हैं।
ऊँट के कूबड़ होते हैं उसमें वसा जमा होती है, जिसका उपयोग ऊर्जा के स्रोत के लिए होता है।
