AIIMS 2018 Physics Question Paper with Solutions

The AIIMS 2018 exam, one of the most prestigious medical entrance exams conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences was conducted on 26th bs 27th May 2018. This exam is held every year to take admission of students to the MBBS course for 584 seats distributed in 15  AIIMS institutes all across the country. 


The AIIMS 2018 exam was conducted in different cities of Andaman and Nicobar, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Tripura, West Bengal, Delhi, Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Kerala, Puducherry, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Tamilnadu, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Goa.

Syllabus of AIIMS 2018 Question Paper

AIIMS 2018 syllabus for Physics was similar to the NCERT syllabus of classes XI and XII. The syllabus of the Physics section of AIIMS 2018 is very vast and includes a number of chapters. The Physics syllabus of AIIMS 2018 is divided into four major divisions, that is, kinematics, laws of motion, rotational mechanics, and modern Physics. 


The main chapters that are included in the syllabus of AIIMS 2018 Physics section are Introduction and Measurement, Description of motion in one, two, and three Dimension, Laws of Motion, Work, Energy and Power, Rotational Motion, Gravitation, Heat and Thermodynamics, Oscillations, Waves, Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Thermal and Chemical Effects of Currents, Magnetic Effect of Currents, Magnetism, Electromagnetic Induction, and Alternating Currents, Electromagnetic Waves, Ray Optics and Optical Instruments, Electrons and Photons, Atoms, Molecules and Nuclei and Solids, and Semiconductor Devices.


From 2020 onwards, the admissions to AIIMS are through the NEET exam conducted by the National Testing Agency. The NEET 2022 exam paper will have 180 questions out of which 45 questions are from physics.
