1. In 11th grade, may I take both the NSEC and the NSEP?
Without a question, yes. In the eleventh class, you will probably take the NSE in Chemistry and the NSE in Physics. To sit in NSEC and NSEP, you must fulfil the IAPT's general eligibility and age requirements. Furthermore, because the NSEC and NSEP syllabuses cover concepts from the 11th and 12th grades, you will be able to cover the course with ease.
2. What is the exam pattern of NSEC?
As per the latest NSEC paper pattern, it is composed of multiple-choice questions. It is divided into two parts- Part A and Part B. Part A comprises 48 questions of objective type. For each correct answer in Part A, 3 marks are given while for each incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted. Part B is composed of 12 questions each worth 6 marks. There’s no negative marking in Part B. The time duration of NSEC is 2 hours.
