Hint: The carcinoma occurs in the tissues that make up the inner and outer lining of our body. These linings are made up exclusively of two germinal layers, the innermost and the outermost layer.

Step by step answer:Carcinoma is a malignant kind of tumor that develops from the epithelial cells. Malignant tumors are those tumors that grow very rapidly and spread to the other body parts. This process is known as metastasis. Carcinoma specifically originates in those tissues, which inline the inner and outer surfaces of our body. It arises from the ectodermal or the endodermal germinal layers.
Carcinoma is further classified into several kinds based on their origin or the cell type from which they start or based on the histology. Thus, the carcinoma is the cancer of Ectoderm and Endoderm/Epithelial tissue.
Hence, the correct answer is option C

Note: Cancer is caused because the cells lose their contact inhibition. Contact inhibition means that cells grow in space until it is completely filled and they do not touch one another. Once the place becomes compact the cells stop growing. However, in the cancerous cells, the DNA is altered due to the mutation caused due to the carcinogenic agents. Sometimes due to this altered DNA, the cells lose their property of contact inhibition and start growing uncontrollably at an unprecedented rate. This causes the tumor to form which starts taking the blood and oxygen. It is important to remember that the cancerous lumps are always painless until they reach a very further stage. Due to this reason their early diagnosis is very difficult.
