Hint: We have studied about the layers of the atmosphere in lower classes. The levels present in the earth’s atmosphere are given in the options. Look carefully in the given options and identify the correct order of levels of earth’s atmosphere starting from the surface of the earth and then moving at higher altitudes.

Complete step by step solution:
- Earth’s atmosphere is a layered structure of atmosphere consisting of six layers. Starting from earth’s surface, the six layers are Troposphere, Stratosphere, Mesosphere, Thermosphere, Ionosphere and Exosphere.
- Troposphere starts from earth’s surface and extends upwards 8 to 15 kilometres high. This layer is the most dense and our weather is due to this region. Clouds are found in this layer.
- Stratosphere is the layer above the troposphere extending 50 kilometres high. This layer has a lot of significance. This layer has an ozone layer which absorbs and scatters the solar ultraviolet radiations. Commercial jet aircrafts also fly in the lower stratosphere to avoid turbulence in the troposphere.
- The Mesosphere is above the stratosphere extending 85 kilometres high. Meteors are burned in this layer.
- Thermosphere is the layer above the mesosphere extending 600 kilometers high. Satellites are installed in this layer. One of the most beautiful natural phenomena seen at the poles of the earth, Aurora also occurs in this layer.
- Ionosphere is a combination layer of mesosphere and thermosphere. This layer is rich in ionized atoms and molecules and electrons and stretches from about 48 kilometers above the surface to about 965 km. Radio communications are possible due to the presence of this layer.
- Exosphere is the topmost layer of the atmosphere where the earth’s atmosphere ends. It is the layer above the thermosphere and extends up to 10,000 kilometres height.

- Therefore, the order of earth’s atmosphere from bottom to top is the Troposphere, Stratosphere, Mesosphere, Thermosphere and Exosphere.

- Therefore, the answer is option (B).

Note: Remember earth’s atmosphere starts from the surface of the earth and ends at 10,000 kilometres above the earth’s surface in the exosphere. Earth’s atmosphere is the reason why we can breathe earth. Earth’s atmosphere is made up of gases like nitrogen, oxygen, carbon-dioxide, etc. Troposphere is the layer of atmosphere present at ground level.
