Hint: Perimeter of any closed figure is defined as the sum of all the sides enclosing the figure. The given figure is a closed one having sides. Consider \[a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h\] as the sides of the question.

Complete step-by-step solution -
Given, \[a=2cm,c=10cm,d=4cm,e=2cm,g=4cm,h=3cm\]

In the given figure, we can see that side “b” is equal to side “d”. Also, side “f” is equal to side “h”.
Hence, the length of side b will be and the length of side f will be \[3cm\]
Now we know the lengths of all the sides. Hence we can write
Perimeter = Sum of all the sides.
If the perimeter of given figure is S then we can write perimeter of the given figure as
 $\Rightarrow S=a+b+c+d+e+f+g+h$
$\Rightarrow S=2+4+10+4+2+3+4+3$
$\Rightarrow S=32$
Hence the perimeter of the given figure is $32$ cm.

Note: In the general unit of the perimeter is the same as the unit of given sides. So the Units of given sides are cm. Hence the unit of perimeter should also be cm.
We can also do this question by splitting in figures in small shapes of square and rectangle. Then we can add their perimeter to find the perimeter of a given figure.
We can find the perimeter of the square and perimeter of a rectangle by using formula explained below
If the side of the square is a then the perimeter (P1) of a square is four times of the given side. We can write it as
$\Rightarrow {{P}_{1}}=4\times a$
If the length and breadth of the rectangle is a and b then the perimeter (P2) of a rectangle is two times the sum of length and breadth of the rectangle. We can write it as
$\Rightarrow {{P}_{2}}=2(l+b)$.
