Hint: The movement of air from high pressure to low pressure is called wind. The reason for the existence of the wind is because the sun heats up the earth surface in an uneven way.

Complete Answer:
Sirocco wind is warm and humid wind which occurs over the northern part of Mediterranean Sea and the southern part of Europe. This wind blows from the south direction to southeast direction and brings humidity with it. The production of the Sirocco wind is due to low pressure in the east sides. This wind travels in the east direction over the southern Mediterranean Sea. When it starts from North Africa, that is from the Sahara desert, it acts as a dry wind and it picks up moisture from the Mediterranean. This wind is also known as jugo or siroc. It originates from dry, warm and tropical atmosphere. This wind causes dry and dusty conditions around the northern African coast. It generates storms in the Mediterranean Sea. It also causes cool and wet weather in Europe. Sirocco wind is also commonly known for unease in the climate. During autumn and spring, these winds blow with the speed of upto 100 km/h. The speed of these winds reach the peak in the month of March and November. This wind also affects many marine activities like fishing.

Hence, the correct answer is option C.

Note: A strong and cold wind which blows from the northeast direction in the western and central part of Mediterranean Sea is called Gregale. It mainly blows in the time of winters.
