Note:About 85% of the Great Indian Desert is located within India, while the rest of it is located in Pakistan. It forms approximately 5% of the total geographic area of India. It is a hot desert with very little rain. Summer days are hot and nights are cool while in winters the days are warm and the nights are cold.
