कवि परिचय:

• प्रस्तुत कविता के कवि  कल्पनाथ सिंह है। 

• कवि का जन्म 12 जुलाई 1930 को मऊ जिले में हुआ था। 

• इनकी प्रमुख रचनाओं मे 'माटी की गंध','अगला कदम' जैसी अनेक रचनाएँ शामिल हैं। 

कविता का सारांशः

•  प्रस्तुत कविता मे कवि ने बादलों के अलग अलग रूपों का वर्णन  किया है l

• प्रस्तुत पंक्तियों में कवि कल्पना करते हुए कहते हैं कि बादलों के बाल बहुत घने और फैले हुए हैं |

• कवि कहते हैं कि कुछ बादलो मे तो ऊँटों के समान कूबड़ दिखाई देता हैं और कुछ बादलो के तो परियों के जैसे पंख लगे दिखाई देते हैं । 

• कभी कभी ये बादल शेरों के समान आपस में ही  टकराते रहते हैं और कभी कभी तो गर्जना भी करने लगते हैं ।

• कवि बादलो के बारे मे आगे कहते हैं कि कुछ बादल तूफान की तरह दिखाई देते हैं और कुछ बादल शैतान की तरह शरारती भी दिखाई देते हैं । 

• कभी कभी ये बादल अपने थैलों से चुपके-चुपके पानी बरसाने लगते हैं और यह कभी भी किसी की बात नहीं सुनते हैं | 

• कभी कभी ये बादल ढोल की तरह आवाज़ करते हुए छत के ऊपर पर आ जाते हैं और फिर अचानक से ऊपर उड़ जाते हैं । 

• कभी-कभी ये बादल जिद्दी बनकर इतनी बरसात करते हैं कि नदी-नालों में बाढ़ तक आ जाती है । 

•  कवि को लगता है कि बादल अच्छे और मन के भोले-भाले होते हैं।
