The Pythagorean theorem in Class 10 Chapter 6 states that while considering a right-angled triangle, it is often noticed that the square of the hypotenuse side is always equal to the total sum of squares of the other two sides. These sides present in the right-angled triangle are termed as the base, perpendicular and hypotenuse respectively.
