CENTAC Application Form 2023-24

The CENTAC Application Form will be published in an online mode by the Centralized Admission Committee of Puducherry. It is tentatively scheduled to be released in the 3rd week of May 2022. Aspirants can get admission to the various undergraduate engineering and medical courses at the government and private institutions of Puducherry through CENTAC 2022 counseling. Aspirants will have to get themselves registered for CENTAC 2022, pay the registration fee, fill in the application form, and upload the required documents to participate in the admission process. The last date to submit the CENTAC Application Form is tentatively in the 4th week of June 2022.

CENTAC Application Form- Overview

Candidates who will submit the CENTAC Application Form within the given time frame will be considered for the merit list of CENTAC 2022. Candidates will have to provide their personal, academic, and communication details in the application form. Personal details such as name, parent's names, age, gender, nationality, religion, category, etc will have to be provided by the candidates in the application form. Candidates must note that under the communication details, they should provide a valid email address, contact number, and postal address, so as to receive all the further notifications of CENTAC 2022. 

The governing body of CENTAC 2022, will be releasing the merit list for the CENTAC counseling procedure. Candidates will be allotted merit ranks based on their 10th and 12th scores and other factors. So it is important that candidates must check the eligibility criteria for CENTAC 2022, before filling out the CENTAC Application Form. 

Documents Required for CENTAC Application Form

After filling up the CENTAC Application Form candidates will have to upload certain documents so as to complete the application process. The required documents are enlisted below for the reference of candidates.

• 10th board examination admit card, mark sheet, and pass certificate.

• 12th board examination admit card, mark sheet, and pass certificate.

• Scanned image of the candidate’s recent passport-size color photograph.

• Scanned image of the candidate’s signature.

Candidates will require to fill in the 10th and 12th board examination details in the application form, so they should keep it handy while filling up the application form. Also, they will need to upload the scanned images of their passport-sized photographs and signatures for completing the application.

Steps to fill the CENTAC Application Form

Candidates can fill in the CENTAC Application Form in four simple steps: registration, payment of the application fee, filling in the details in the application form, and uploading the passport-sized photograph.  

The above-mentioned steps to fill out the CENTAC Application Form are discussed in detail below, for the convenience of candidates.

Step 1: Visit the official website of CENTAC 2022 and click on the link for registration. Fill in the details such as name, contact number, email address, date of birth, and registration number of 12th board examination. Create a password following the instructions provided for password creation and click on the ‘SUBMIT’ button on your screen. 

On successful registration, a link will be sent to your registered email addresses. You will have to activate the link by clicking on it. To complete the rest of the application process, you will have to log in to the official website of CENTAC again, by entering their date of birth, email address, and password.

Step 2: The next step in the application process, after registration is the payment of the application fee. You can pay the application fee online by internet banking, debit, or credit cards. 

The application fee varies according to the number of courses a candidate applies to and also according to the category a candidate belongs to. The details of the application fee are tabulated below.

On successful payment of the application fee, a payment receipt will be generated and it is suggested that you take a printout of the receipt for future use.

Step 3: The next step is to fill in the details in the CENTAC Application Form. The details to be filled in the application form are enlisted below.

• Name 

• Address for communication

• Gender

• Email address

• Contact number

• Date of birth

• Nationality

• Religion

• Category

• Special reservation quota (PH/ EX/ SP/ FF)

• Community

• Parents’ name

• Parents’ occupation

• Parents’ annual income

• University preference

• The preferred courses of education

• Mother tongue

• Registration number, index number, and other details of 10th board examination

• Registration number, index number, and other details of 12th board examination

• Marks obtained in the examinations (subject-wise)

Step 4: After filling up the details in the CENTAC Application Form you will have to upload a scanned copy of passport size color photograph of yours. The photograph should not be more than three months old. The file specifications for the scanned image of the photograph are given below. If the file does not match the specified requirements then the application will not be considered.

After uploading the scanned image of the photograph, the last step is to submit the application form. All the information entered in the CENTAC Application Form must be verified before submission of the application form, as there will be no correction window provided to edit the application details. Also, candidates are suggested to keep a hard copy of the application form for reference.
