Kerala Polytechnic Application Form 2023-24

The Kerala polytechnic application form is released by the Department of Technical Education (DTE) Kerala. It is expected that this year the form will be released in the first week of May , 2022. 

The candidates appear for the Kerala polytechnic admission to seek admission in the polytechnic colleges and get a diploma degree.

Here are Some Important Dates That Should be Noted:

• Release of Kerala Polytechnic Application Form 2022 - first week of May 2022

• Last Date to submit Application Form- The second week of June 2022

• Last Date to register Applications at Government and Government-aided Polytechnic institutes - Third week of June 2022

• Publication of Provisional Rank List & Trial Seat Allotment - Third week of June 2022

• Last Date to challenge Provisional Rank List and to submit Revised Choices - The third week of June 2022

• Publication of Final Rank List and Seat Allotment for Round I - Last week of June 2022

Things to Keep Ready Before Filling Kerala Polytechnic Application Form

Before you fill up the Kerala Polytechnic Application Form for the year 2022, here are the few documents that you need to be ready with.

• Age proof

• Mark-sheets of SSLC/ THSLC or equivalent examination that is self-attested

• If applicable then you Category certificate 

• Domicile certificate to state that you are a candidate from Kerala

• Community certificate

• If you belong to backward districts then a certificate in order to claim bonus points 

• If applicable then Special Reservation certificate 

• If applicable then PwD certificate 

• A Disability certificate in order to claim reservation if a candidate falls under the Economically backward category

• Disability certificate in order to claim reservation under the category of Physically Challenged 

• A Disability certificate in order to claim reservation under the TFW scheme

• If applicable then Hearing-impaired certificate 

Procedure/Steps to Fill the Kerala Polytechnic Application Form

Here are the steps to fill up the Kerala Polytechnic application form for the year 2022.

Step 1 - Registration 

 This step requires filling the candidate's personal details like name, contact number, and email id in order to complete the process of registration.

Step 2 - Filling of Application Form 

After the registration process the candidates will have to now enter the details asked for in the application form. This includes academic details, personal details and the contact details.

Step 3 - Filling of Choices 

The third stage involves filling up the preference order of the courses and the institutes. A candidate can, at the max, enter only 30 choices. The counseling happens in 4 rounds, and each round gives the candidate a chance to get his preference seat.

Step 4 - Print out of application Form 

After the form is filled the candidate will have to take a print of his application form and proceed to the next step.

Step 5 - Registration of Hard Copy of Application Form 

The candidates will have to get their parents' signature on the printed application and will need to get the form registered at any of the Government or Aided Polytechnic Colleges before the last date. After this, the hard copy of the application form has to be submitted along with the documents asked for and the application fee. After the payment is made a registration number will be issued by the examination authorities and this registration number will be used for all the processes in the future
