The Kerala polytechnic result is released in the online mode. The provisional and the final rank list are released by the authorities on the pre-announced dates. The entire Kerala polytechnic admission process is taken care of by the Department of Technical Education, Kerala. The process grants candidates admission to various polytechnic colleges in the state of Kerala. The admission into the diploma courses in the polytechnic colleges is based on the candidates’ performance in SSLC/THSLC or any equivalent examination.

Rules for Rechecking/Re-evaluation of Answer Sheets for the Kerala Polytechnic Course

When the DTE authorities publish the provisional ranking list, then the candidates are allowed to challenge it if they find any errors and ask the authorities to reevaluate it.

In case the candidate feels something that he objects to on the list

published, then they can approach the polytechnic college principal within 3 days after the rank list is announced and submit their special request along with their original copies. No challenges raised after 3 days will be entertained.

The Index score calculated for Stream 1 is the TGPA for stream I – Penal Point + Bonus Point

The Index score calculated for Stream 2 = TGPA for stream II – Penal Point + Bonus Point
