NDA Entrance Exam Centres 2022

National Defence Academy (NDA) exam 2022, like every year, will be conducted offline across the country. Candidates have to go to their allotted NDA exam centres to appear in the exam. During the submission of the application form, a candidate can select up to three exam centres of his own wish. The exam centres will be allotted on a first-apply-first-allot basis. Once the capacity of the NDA exam centres gets full, the option for that centre gets closed. UPSC publishes the NDA exam centres list with a notification.

National Defence Academy or NDA exam is one of the important exams and the gateway to one of the most desirable jobs in India. Nearly 4 lakh aspirants apply every year from the different parts of the country, among which only 6000 get selected for the SSB interview. Due to this reason, the exam centres for NDA exam are allotted in 41 different cities across India. Details regarding the NDA exam centre 2022 have been discussed below.

What are the Important Points to Remember About NDA Exam Centre 2022?

There are some important points which every candidate should know and remember about the exam centres of NDA 2022. These are:

  • Except for Chennai, Dispur, Kolkata and Nagpur, all other exam centres have a ceiling on the number of the candidates who can be allotted with a maximum of three exam centres each.

  • Once the capacity of an exam centre becomes full, no other candidate gets to choose that particular centre. The option then is closed.

  • Candidates are requested to choose any other centre if they do not get a chance to choose the exam centre of their own choice. This may happen due to the ceiling on the number of students that one exam centre can accommodate.

  • Candidates are requested to fill the application form as early as possible so that they can choose the exam centre of their own choice. The exam centres will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of the first-apply-first-allot basis.

  • The detail of the exam centres will be given on the NDA admit card issued by the UPSC. 

  • Candidates are advised to apply early as soon as the application window opens on the UPSC’s official website. 


NDA Exam Centre Details on the Admit Card

The detail of the NDA exam centres 2022 will be given on the NDA admit card. Candidates will get their admit card 3 weeks before their exam. In the NDA admit card, there will be a section for exam centre details; there the name of the exam centre, address of the centre and the centre code will be mentioned. So, the aspirants will get every detail for their NDA exam centre(s) 2022 from the NDA admit card only. They do not have to look further.


How to Select the NDA Exam Centre 2022?

Candidates can choose the exam centre of their own choice while filling the online application form. They can select any three exam centres of their preference. If they cannot get to select the exam centre of their choice, they are advised to select any other centres from the remaining options as per their convenience. 


It is suggested that the candidates apply as early as possible for the NDA exam so that they get to select the exam centres of their choice. Once the centre gets full, it will no longer be made available for selection. 


Announcement of the NDA Exam Centres 2021

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will publish the list of exam centres (and the cities) where the NDA exam 2022 will be conducted. Candidates can select any three centres of their own choice from the given list of the NDA exam centres 2022. 


Aspirants will get to know their exam centres 3 weeks before the written exam when the NDA admit card will be published online. They will get every detail of their exam centre(s) from the admit card only. They just need to download it from UPSC website and take the printout of it in multiple copies for future references. 


Guidelines to Be Followed for NDA Exam Centres 2022:

Candidates have to follow some guidelines for choosing the NDA exam centres. These guidelines are discussed below:

  • Candidates can select any three exam centres while filling up the application form.

  • If a candidate cannot select the exam centre of his own choice due to the ceiling of the number of students in that centre, they can select any other option from the given list. 

  • Candidates are advised to apply early to select the exam centre of their own choice.

  • Candidates will get every detail about their exam centre in their NDA admit card 2022.

  • Candidates have to carry their NDA admit card in the exam centre along with a black ball pen, 2 passport size photo ( the same one which has been used during the application) and a photo ID proof like Aadhar card, voter card, school/college ID card etc.

  • Candidates have to reach the NDA exam centre at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.

  • No kind of electrical gadget, mobile phone, log tables calculator, and note, etc will be allowed in the exam centre.

  • Any kind of cheating will not be allowed in the exam centre.

  • Any kind of misconduct in the exam centre will be considered as inappropriate and can even lead to the cancellation of the candidature of the candidate.
