4. Who Can Participate in the International Maths Olympiad?
Students can not directly sit for the IMO selection process because no such examination exists. There will be multiple examinations taken by the conducting body to select the best students so that they can represent India at the international level. Students who score well at each level and higher than their peers are also awarded. Participants must pass all the previous level examinations to sit for the final one. The age of participants must not be above 20 years. Students should not have been admitted to any post-secondary institutions.
