1. What does Pre RMO stand for?
Ans: The full form of Pre RMO is the Pre-Regional Mathematical Olympiad. Pre RMO, or Pre RMO, is the preliminary-level competition for selection in the Regional Mathematical Olympiad in India. 2. What are the main eligibility criteria for registration in Pre RMO?
Ans: Applicants must be born on or after August 1, 2003, to be eligible to apply for Pre RMO. Students of 8th-12th standards are eligible to take Pre RMO 2024-25. The candidate must be an Indian Citizen or OCI cardholder. However, candidates with OCI cards will not be shortlisted for selection to the Indian team in the International Mathematical Olympiad.
3. What if I do not meet the eligibility conditions for Pre RMO while applying for the Exam?
Ans: If at any level of the competition it is found that a candidate does not adhere to the eligibility norms, he/she will be disqualified immediately from the competition. Any exemption to these rules will not be provided in any condition.
4. Is Pre RMO difficult to clear?
Ans: RMO is considered to be one of the toughest Math Olympiad in the country. 5. Who organizes Pre-RMO?
Ans: Pre Regional Mathematics Olympiad or PRMO exam is the first tier of the, 5 stages long, mathematical olympiad programme (MOP). The first stage exam (Pre-RMO exam) is conducted by the Mathematics Teachers’ Association. This is under the supervision of Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE). And the rest 4 stages of the programme are conducted directly by the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE). HBCSE is appointed to organise this exam by the National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM).
