Hint: DNA replication is a complex and continuous process, in this process two identical DNA molecules are synthesized. This is an Enzyme catalysed reaction.Once the DNA in a cell is replicated, it divides into two new cells and contains identical copies of original DNA.

Complete answer:
DNA replication is the process which produces identical copies of DNA. It is useful for biological inheritance. There are Three main stages of DNA Replication Initiation, Elongation, and Termination. After the DNA replication is completed, two DNA molecules consisting of one new and one old chain of nucleotides are formed. They are described as Semi – conservative mode of replication.
DNA is tightly packed into coiled structures called Chromatin. This loosens prior to DNA replication. And they are reformed after replication. Newly replicated DNA is rapidly assembled into Nucleosomes and Histones are attached.
In Eukaryotes, DNA replication is the Unidirectional mode of replication. In this replication takes place within the nucleus. Telomerase is an Enzyme found in the Eukaryotic cell, This enzyme is added to a specific sequence of DNA to telomeres of chromosomes after they divide, it stabilizes the chromosome after replication.

After the DNA replication, two new DNA molecules are formed each containing one old and one new strand. The new DNA winds itself to form a double helix.

Note :
The DNA replication occurs in Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic cells. After DNA replication two double helix DNA molecules are formed, a new complementary daughter strand and the original DNA molecule (template) using several enzymes.
