Physical Education aims to provide students with opportunities to develop physically, mentally, and emotionally. It helps them become healthier and more active individuals and provides a foundation for a healthy lifestyle which is essential for the overall development of a child. Physical Education is a compulsory subject in class 10. The syllabus for Physical Education provides guidelines to achieve the following objectives of Physical Education. The Physical Education syllabus for Class 10 is divided into two semesters. In Semester 1, students will learn about the different types of physical activities and improve their fundamental motor skills. They will also learn about the importance of physical activity for overall health and well-being. In Semester 2, students will learn about different sports and games. They will also learn about the rules and regulations of selected sports.

The Physical Education Syllabus for Class 10 is as Follows:

a) To promote health and fitness among students.

h) To encourage students to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
