The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam is responsible for conducting the Assam Polytechnic PAT 2020 Examination state level examination. Assam PAT Counselling 2020
The Assam PAT Counselling 2020 is a centralized counselling process done in offline mode. The counselling is conducted for all the candidates who have taken up the Assam PAT 2020 and are short-listed. The list with the names of the short-listed candidates will be made available online by the authorities. Students will be instructed to report to the venue personally for the counselling process. As a part of the counselling process, the students will have to get their documents verification done which will then be followed by the seat allotment process. Candidates who fail to produce all the necessary originals documents will not be considered for the admission process.

Assam PAT 2020 Counselling
Students who have qualified in the Assam PAT 2020 exam will be able to tackle part in the Assam PAT 2020 counselling process. The process involves students getting their documents verified, followed by selecting their choice of college along with their choice of course for admission process. If any candidate fails to show up for the counselling process in the stipulated time, then he will not be allotted any seat.
The Procedure of Assam PAT Counselling 2020 is as Explained Below:
The candidates will be enlisted for the counselling process purely based on their merit and marks obtained in the Assam PAT 2020.
The schedule, time, date and the venue for the counselling process will be provided by the authorities.
The counselling is conducted in offline mode. Therefore the students are expected to be present there physically with all the necessary documents to take part in further processes.
During the counselling process, the candidates will have to submit their original documents along with their photocopies for verification.
After the document verification, students will have to take part in the interview process.
After the interview and the documents verification is done, the authorities will prepare a common merit list as well as a category wise merit list.
Allotment of seats for the candidates will be done as per their merit, preferences, interview performance and availability of seats.
If a candidate who belongs to reserved category appears in more than one merit list i.e., common merit list and category-wise list - he/she will be considered for seat allotment in both of these categories separately. Nevertheless, a candidate will be allotted only one seat.
Once a candidate is allotted a seat in a particular seat and course, he/she will not be permitted to take admission in any other course.

Character certificate issued from the Head of the Institutions attended previously.

Candidates applying for seats under Moran community quota must produce a certificate from Assam Moran Sabha with the counter-signature of DC/ADC/SDO (Civil) of the concerned district along with the Non-Creamy Layer Certificate from the Deputy Commissioner of the respective district
Certificate from Director of Sports, Assam and proof of representing State( if applicable against Sport and NCC quota).
Freedom Fighter certificate ( if applicable from both paternal & maternal).
Certificate from the Director, Rajya Sainik Board, Assam if applied against the category of retired defence personnel.
For differently-abled candidates, they should produce the Identity Card as Differently-Abled issued by the Social Welfare Department. The minimum disability should be more than 40% and not exceeding 80%.
