Conducted by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education, the OET (Online Entrance Test) examination, also called MET, is your chance to secure a seat in the B. Tech batches of MIT (Manipal Institute of Technology), Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology and the Manipal University in Jaipur. It’s a computer (online) based undergraduate examination that receives more than 2 lakh applications, conducted across 80 Indian cities and Dubai. To appear for the exam, the candidate needs to understand the MU OET 2022 application form format. FAQs on MU OET Application Form 2023-24
1. How much is the application fee and how can it be paid?
Applicants to MU-OET can opt for both online and offline applications. For general category candidates, the application fee is a total of INR 600, along with the test fee of INR 1400. The exam fee for general candidates is INR 2000. For sponsored applications and NRI/Foreign/International applicants, there’s only an application fee of INR 2500.
2. What is the pattern for the MU-OET examinations?
The MU-OET examination is a 2.5-hour test and spread across 200 multiple-choice questions. Every correct answer awards you 4 points, while a wrong answer will result in negative marking of 1 point. Out of the 200 questions, 50 will be from physics, 50 from chemistry, 70 from mathematics, and 30 from general aptitude and English.
3. Do I need to pay for both course fee and exam fee during the registration?
Yes, you will need to pay both fees during the registration period. In case, you don't pay for any of the fees, then the application is considered incomplete.
