MU OET Counselling 2023-24

MU OET Counseling 2022 will be initiated and managed by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), formerly known as Manipal University, along with its affiliated institutes. Once the entrance test has been done, and the results of the same are out, the next crucial step for candidates to take admission in the course of their choice is taking part in MU OET counseling.

MU OET is conducted in an online mode (computer-based test). It is a university level entrance exam that includes various courses and programs under its umbrella.

Candidates can get admission into various under-graduate (UG) and post-graduate (PG) programs in MAHE and its affiliated institutes. Programs include various specialized courses of engineering, applied sciences, pharmacy, commerce, humanities, and others.

MAHE conducts MU OET on an annual basis. Candidates need to score more than the minimum required qualifying marks successfully in the entrance test to get through MU OET counseling and take admission in their desired courses.

Important Points for Counseling

• Candidates can participate in MU OET Counseling and seat allotment 2022 only if they qualify for the entrance exam.

• MAHE will conduct the counseling of MU OET 2022 in both Online as well as Offline mode.

• In Offline mode, candidates will have to report to the counseling venue for seat allotment.

• In Online mode, candidates will be required to register and fill their choices for college online, and seats will be allotted to them based on merit.

• Candidates who will be participating in offline counseling need to be reported to the institute of their choice while candidates who are participating in online counseling do not have to do the same.

• Candidates who are allotted seats through the counseling will be required to deposit the institute fee to confirm their admission.

• Total 4 rounds of online and 1 offline round are going to be conducted for MU OET 2022 Counseling and seat allotment. 

• An additional spot round counseling can also be conducted if seats remain vacant.

Schedule for MU OET counseling is yet to be declared by MAHE. Candidates should keep a regular check for the schedule of counseling on the official website after the results of the entrance test are announced. 

Counseling Procedure of MU OET

Candidates who qualify the entrance test based on their ranks. Primarily, one round of offline, and then four rounds of online counseling will be conducted for the seat allotments in various courses.

Document Required for MU OET Counseling

The list of documents required candidates required for appearing in counseling are as follows: 

• MET 2022 Hall Ticket

• Candidate’s Aadhaar Card

• Class 10 Mark Sheet

• Character Certificate issued by the School/College

• Demand Draft (DD) of the counseling registration and course fees

• Transfer Certificate (TC) or School Leaving Certificate issued by the School/College

• Parent’s PAN Card

• Two recent Passport Size Photograph

• One Stamp Size Photograph
