1. Can One Register for the Exam Along With Appearing for NSEA?
Before registering and enrolling yourself for the NSEJS exam, you must be very clear about the criteria and rules to follow for the exam. If you apply for NSEA you are not eligible for NSEJS. Along with NSEA, you should not be applying for NSEAB, NSEP OR NSEC.
2. How to Register for the Centre for the NSEJS Exam?
To enrol for the NSEJS exam, you can visit the NSE centre that is nearest to you, it can be in the same city or district so that you can easily reach the exam centre on the exam day. The list of all the NSE centres is given on the official website of NSE, www.nseindia.com and you can easily spot the one nearest to you.
3. Can I Bring a Calculator to the NSEJS 2022?
Not every calculator is actually allowed to be carried out for the NSEJS exam. However, if you go to the next stage of the exam and are eligible for the IJSO, which is the International Junior Science Olympiad exam, specific categories of calculators are allowed. The calculators allowed for the INO (Indian National Olympiad) should not have a graphing mode, no physical constants and not more than three rows of function and should not contain equations. Even those models should be given for verification and can be carried out only when approved by the centre coordinator.
4. Can Class 9 students appear for NSEJS Olympiad 2022?
Yes. You are eligible to appear for the NSEJS Exam 2022 if you are a high school student who has not passed the board examination before November 2022.
5. Is there a negative marking in the NSEJS Test?
Yes, there is a negative marking in the NSEJS. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer in Part A of the NSEJS question paper. However, in Part B of the question paper, there’s no negative marking.
