The Directorate of Technical Education and Training, Odisha is the authority concerned for managing the entire admission process in various polytechnic courses in the state of Odisha. Odisha DET application form is expected to be available online by the first week of May 2022.

Odisha DET provides admission in various diploma courses offered by both government and private polytechnic colleges of Odisha. Following are some important dates:

1. Availability of Odisha DET application form – 1st week of July 2022 (Tentative).

2. Last date of online submission of the form – 1st week of September 2022 (Tentative).

3. Verification of documents that have not been rectified online – June, 2022 (Tentative).

4. Last date for the verification of documents – June, 2022 (Tentative).

5. The expected date for the declaration of merit list – June, 2022 (Tentative).

6. Last date for filling the choices by selected applicants – June, 2022 (Tentative).

7. 1st round of provisional seat allotment – June, 2022 (Tentative).

8. Last date for submitting admission fee of first round applicants – June, 2022 (Tentative).

9. 2nd round of provisional seat allotment –July, 2022 (Tentative).

10. Last date for submitting the admission fee of second round candidates – July, 2022 (Tentative).

Documents to Keep in Hand Before Filling Odisha DET Application Form, 2022:

Scanned Copy of –

1. A recent passport sized photograph

2. Candidate’s signature 

3. Adhar card as identity proof 

4. Class 10th and 12th Mark sheet and certificate

5. Special Reservation and PWD certificates in any.

6. Disability certificate so as to claim your reservation under the candidates of physically challenged category (if any).

Step by step procedure for filling Odisha DET application form,2022:

STEP 1. Registration

The first and the foremost step for each candidate is to register on the official website. 

STEP 2. Filling up of Form

In this process, each candidate is expected to fill his/her basic details that may consist of the following:

1. Personal Details, like: name, father’s name, etc.

2. Residential Information

3. Educational qualification

4. Name of the examination

5. Date of birth

6. Details of Adhar card

STEP 3.  Uploading of Documents, Photograph, and Signature of Candidate

In this step, make sure to upload the properly scanned copies of all the required documents considering the standard size and format of the documents.

STEP 4.  Fill Your Choice 

In this step the candidate will be asked to fill his/her preference of the courses he/she wishes to apply for.

STEP 5. Submit Your Fee

The application fee for all the courses can be deposited online through debit card/ credit card/ net banking. Please note that the fee amount for ST/SC/PC/FEMALE CANDIDATES and general category varies accordingly. Make sure to download the receipt after the payment is made successfully.

STEP 6. Submit And Print Your Application Form

After depositing the fee, the candidate may re-check his/her application once again before the final submission. After you tap the submit button on the portal, take the print (hard copy) of your application form for future reference.
