Diploma in Engineering and Technology: The student applying for the exam must have cleared at least HSC or 10th class examination with math, science, and English as mandatory subjects. The student must have passed the exams with at least 35% of marks as an aggregate and 30% in the subjects mentioned above. The minimum age is 14 years for applying in diploma engineering courses, and for the engineering diploma program, the lower age is 16 years.
Diploma in Pharmacy: The students applying for this course must be 10+2 pass or equivalent to CHSE, Odisha with math/biology, chemistry, physics with at least 30% marks in each subject. The aggregate qualification of marks shall be 35%.
Diploma in Cinematography/Sound and TV Engineering: The students applying for the course should have cleared their 10+2 in the science stream with a recognized board with at least 35% marks. They should be in between 16 to 28 years on 1/7/2022 if the students wish to pursue the course.
Diploma in Engineering (lateral entry): The students applying for this course must pass in 10+2 level from science stream/10+2 vocational in any ENG. Trades/2 years ITI in ENG. Trade/pass in HSC exam in COE trade conducted by BSE Odisha/10th standard exam approved equivalent by BSE Odisha with a minimum of 30% marks in each subject and should not be of less than 16 years in age.
Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology: The students should have passed their 10+2 program with streams from CHSE, Odisha with at least 30% marks in each subject and 35% in total. The minimum age to apply for the course is 16 years.
Odisha DET Cut Off/ Results
The Odisha DET exam 2020 will be a merit-based exam, and the list will be released on the official site of the institute. The results of the students application can only be viewed through online mode. According to the result of the cut off which will likely be out in the month of June 2022, the counseling will begin.
