Odisha DET Application Form

If the students who wish to apply for the exam are eligible according to the norms of the board, then here is the information to further apply for the process:

• The students should download the brochure related to the Odisha DET exam 2022 and read all the information mentioned very carefully.

• This form is available only through online mode.

• The dates for the application form begin in the 1st week of May 2022. Students can only apply once for the exam.

• The application forms for the admission will only be available until 2nd week of June 2022.

• There is an application fee which has to be paid by every student who is willing to fill the form. For general male students, the application fee is INR 250, and for the reservation category and females, the application fee is INR 200.

• The application fee given at the time of filling the form is non-refundable under any circumstances.

• The students can fill the form from the official site of the institute and make sure to create a personal copy for future references.

• The students have to fill the required details asked in the form and attach a soft copy of various documents like passport-sized photographs, id proof, 10th and 12th mark sheet, residence proof, etc.

Odisha DET Eligibility Criteria

Before the student fills the application form, it is very important for them to make sure they are eligible to apply for the course they desire. Following is the eligibility criteria according to the courses offered:

• Diploma in Engineering and Technology: The student applying for the exam must have cleared at least HSC or 10th class examination with math, science, and English as mandatory subjects. The student must have passed the exams with at least 35% of marks as an aggregate and 30% in the subjects mentioned above. The minimum age is 14 years for applying in diploma engineering courses, and for the engineering diploma program, the lower age is 16 years.

• Diploma in Pharmacy: The students applying for this course must be 10+2 pass or equivalent to CHSE, Odisha with math/biology, chemistry, physics with at least 30% marks in each subject. The aggregate qualification of marks shall be 35%.

• Diploma in Cinematography/Sound and TV Engineering: The students applying for the course should have cleared their 10+2 in the science stream with a recognized board with at least 35% marks. They should be in between 16 to 28 years on 1/7/2022 if the students wish to pursue the course.

• Diploma in Engineering (lateral entry): The students applying for this course must pass in 10+2 level from science stream/10+2 vocational in any ENG. Trades/2 years ITI in ENG. Trade/pass in HSC exam in COE trade conducted by BSE Odisha/10th standard exam approved equivalent by BSE Odisha with a minimum of 30% marks in each subject and should not be of less than 16 years in age.

• Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology: The students should have passed their 10+2 program with streams from CHSE, Odisha with at least 30% marks in each subject and 35% in total. The minimum age to apply for the course is 16 years.

Odisha DET Cut Off/ Results

The Odisha DET exam 2020 will be a merit-based exam, and the list will be released on the official site of the institute. The results of the students application can only be viewed through online mode. According to the result of the cut off which will likely be out in the month of June 2022, the counseling will begin.

If the students are selected in the cut off list, then they can further apply for the counseling session, which will further take them a step closer to the admission process. The student has to apply for counseling to confirm the seat.

The student will also be allotted with a rank card, which will help the student in the counseling process. The rank card will be introduced on the official website in the same month, and the students have to make sure that they built a copy of the result card.

Odisha DET Counseling

After the results are announced online, on the basis of the merit list, the students will be called out for counseling. This process is a part of the final admission procedure, and further is divided into two parts:

• Document Verification

• Seat Allotment Process

The counseling procedure will be divided into multiple rounds until the seats are filled entirely. The students have to make sure to carry all the essential documents which are required during the time of the admission. They can carry one duplicate copy of the documents along with the original ones for verification. After the seat is allotted to the students, they are requested to pay a certain amount to lock the seat in the seat allotment process. The process is expected to begin from the 4th week of June till the first week of August.
