Eligibility Criteria for PESSAT 2022

Programme

    Eligibility

B.Tech.

Acquisition of 60% marks in 10+2 / equivalent exam in Science from a recognised board.

B.Des.

Acquisition of 60% marks in 10+2 / equivalent exam in any stream from a recognized board.

B.Arch.

Must get a 50% marks in 10+2 / equivalent exam in Science stream from a recognised board.

or       

10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognised by Central/ State Governments with an aggregate of 50% marks.

Or 

International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with more than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as a compulsory subject in the examination.

BBA/BBA-HEM

10+2 or equivalent in any stream from a recognised board

M.Tech.

BE/BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Science and Engineering, and Information Technology and other relevant or equivalent subjects.

M.Com./ M.Sc. Applied Economics

B.Com. degree from a recognised university.

BBA LLB (Hons)

10+2 or equivalent in any stream from a recognised board.

MBA

At least 50% aggregate in Bachelor’s Degree from any recognised University or MAT Composite Score above 500 / CAT Score above 50th percentile / GMAT Score above 450 for direct admission.

B Tech Double Specialization/B Tech+ M Tech

60% marks in 10+2 or equivalent in Science stream from a recognised board.

1. Why if I do not meet the given PESSAT eligibility criteria?

Nothing much can be done if you or anyone else does not meet the given eligibility criteria. In such cases, you have to wait for the next year or seek admission in some other course without wasting a year.


2. Can the eligibility criteria change at any time?

Well, there isn't much scope for this as these are all pre-decided before the exam date, and others are announced. Changes vary from one year to another. If by chance, any changes are made in the present year, then you will be notified online by the authorities.

3. Is PES University very strict?

Yes, PES University has very strict rules and regulations. They do not show any callous attitude when it comes to discipline. Each college under this university keeps a close eye on the students. This has curbed many issues of indiscipline.

4. What is the uniform of the colleges under PES University?

There is no particular uniform for the students. However, some students have to wear an apron or a lab coat when they are in a workshop or the lab. Besides these, all students are expected to wear decent clothes to the campus.
