JNTU is the conducting authority for this TS ECET exam. Before you sit for the exam and check your TS ECET Result, know how the marks for this exam are calculated.

+1 mark awarded for the correct answer, no marks are deducted for the wrong answer

Criteria for Pharmacy Students
Candidates with higher marks are preferred
If the tie isn't resolved, then he candidate who is older is preferred over the other candidates
Criteria for B.Sc. Mathematics students
Candidates having the highest marks are preferred
If the tie isn't resolved, then the candidate with better qualifying marks are given the opportunity
IN the 3rd case, older candidates are preferred over younger ones
Criteria for Engineering students
Candidates having highest marks in Engineering stream is preferred
The marks of mathematics are the 2nd criteria taken into consideration
In the 3rd criteria, the marks of Physics are taken into consideration
Lastly, a candidate who is older in age is preferred over the other candidates

1. What is the application fee for TS ECET, and how can you pay the fees?
The Application fee of TS ECET 2022 is Rs.800 for UR candidates and Rs.400 for ST/SC candidates. You can pay the application fee using a debit/credit card/UPI or net banking method.
2. Can you apply for the examination if you don’t have an Aadhar card?
JNTU doesn’t accept any other ID proof except the Aadhar card for the TS ECET examination. If you don’t have your Aadhar number visit the nearest enrolment center and apply for it.
3. How many sat for the ECET exam 2019?
28,037 candidates enrolled themselves for taking part in the TS ECET exam. Out of this, 27,123 candidates appeared for the examination process. This year the number of applications is set to rise along with the pass percentages.
4. How many marks are there in the ECET examination?
There are a total of 200 marks for the TS ECET examination. You need to secure at least 25% in total aggregate to qualify for the examination. This equals to a minimum of 50 marks out of 200 that you must score for the exam.
