Tip for Memorising Table of 13

The table of 13 does not have any fixed method or rules that make the multiplication table of 13 easy for students to memorise. But we observe that there is a pattern for every ten multiples of three. Table of 13:  13, 26, 39, 52, 65, 78, 91, 104, 117, 130. The Tip for memorising the Table of 13 is given below in two steps.

  • First Step: If you want to memorise the 13 tables, you are required to memorise the table of 3. The multiples of 3 are 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30 . . . .

  • Second Step: Now to calculate the multiples of 13, we need to add natural numbers to the ten's digit of the multiples of 3. Hence, the table of 13 will be calculated as follows: (1+0)3=13, (2+0)6=26, (3+0)9=39, (4+1)2=52, (5+1)5=65, (6+1)8=78, (7+2)1=91, (8+2)4=104, (9+2)7=117, (10+3)0 = 130.
