Every year millions of students participate in the exam from 30 countries all over the world in the SOF (Science Olympiad Foundation) conducted International General Knowledge Olympiad (IGKO) exam. Any student who is in the primary class (1st to 4th) or the secondary class (5th to 10th) are eligible to apply for the IGKO 2024-25 examination.

  • Any student who is studying in an affiliated school in India with the recognized and reputed boards like CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), ICSE (Indian School Certificate Examinations), ISC (Indian School Certificate) and other state boards can participate in the exam.

  • The students from these schools must be studying in classes 1 to 10 to be eligible for appearing in the exam.

  • Students who are studying in any secondary school, under the government of India and affiliated with any recognized board can also appear in the exam.

  • The students appearing for class 10 or the secondary examination will be eligible to appear, and those who pass and obtain a valid certificate will be given a certificate.


Things to Avoid During IGKO Exam

The candidates are advised to avoid the following things that will put them under stress during their IGKO Exam and practice sessions. These things can affect your concentration, and you will find it difficult to focus on the questions asked in the exam:

Avoid Mobile Phones - As this is a computer-based test, mobile phones at the examination hall will not only disturb others but can also affect your performance.

Avoid Eating Heavy Food - As this exam takes place in the morning, food items rich in fats are known to affect the brain's efficiency. That is why it is advised to avoid eating heavy food items in the morning.
