CUET 2023: Important Guidelines and Documents Required

CUET 2023 Notifications y NTA

As NTA is the conducting body of the CUET examinations, the following are the summarised points of the latest notifications released by the NTA for the CUET 2023 examinations.

  • One of the important notifications included the reservation criterion notification. The Government of India's or the participating institutions' rules shall be followed for seat reservations for the CUET test.

  • Before submitting an application for a course, CUET applicants are urged to review the eligibility requirements as different institutions have different requirements for various courses.

  • The sole accepted application method is online. Applications sent offline won't be approved.

  • To receive critical alerts from the consortium during the CUET examination process, candidates must have a working phone number and email address.

  • The application form must contain the candidates' signatures and high-quality photos of the candidate.

  • Although CUET officials make an effort to give applicants the exam site of their choice, they can be informed if this doesn't happen.

  • Candidates who take the CUET test will not be admitted to the course they have chosen unless they meet the prerequisites.

  • If an applicant presents forged documents, CUET officials have the power to deny entry.

CUET Important Guidelines for the Exam Hall

Along with the other notifications, NTA has also released CUET 2023 notifications or important guidelines for the exam day.

  • Candidates must reach the exam at the given time as late entry would not be allowed.

  • Candidates are allowed to exit the exam hall once it is approved by the exam invigilator after the completion of the scheduled exam duration. 

  • The invigilators have the authority to check the CUET 2023 admit card and valid ID proof of the candidate.

  • A candidate won't be allowed to take the entrance test if they don't have their CUET admit card or a valid picture ID.

  • The exam centre personnel will notify candidates of the seats assigned to them depending on their roll number.

  • In case a candidate fails to show up at the examination hall, they will not be given another chance to take the test.

According to the NTA CUET 2023 notification, the maximum number of tests to be taken is 9. Candidates can opt for either of the following combinations.

2 Languages + 6 Domain-Specific Subjects + 1 General Test 

3 Languages + 5 Domain-Specific Subjects + 1 General Test

2. What is the correction window of the CUET application form?

The CUET application registration is going to started in 1st week of April 2023, Application correction is happening from 3rd to 4th week of April 2023 .

3. List the documents required at the CUET examination hall.

There are two important documents that a candidate must carry to the CUET exam hall. It is important to note that failure to produce these documents will result in deeming the candidate unfit to take the exam. 

  • Admit card

  • Valid ID proof it may constitute the following documents (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving Licence, Voter ID Card, Passport)
